The Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking the financial performance of the facility against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts while assisting senior leadership in making tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.


  • BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a healthcare accountant role preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Leads in the development, analysis, and preparation of financial plans, reporting key performance indicators to achieve overall system and entity strategic goals and objectives.
  • Performs financial forecasting.
  • Analysis financial data and create financial models.
  • Report on financial performance for periodic leadership review.
  • Analyze past results and perform variance analysis.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of all financial reporting.
  • Collect data to prepare analysis of new and existing services and monitoring ongoing performance.


  1. Responsible for data collection to prepare analysis for new and existing services and the monitoring of ongoing performance.
  • Participate in projects such as service line assessment and planning.
  • Assist in identifying key levees that drive success, assessing operational and financial performance.
  • Perform clinical analysis determining market share and utilization factors as well as identifying trends and best practices.


  1. Responsible for preparing Financial and Operational analysis directed to evaluate performance for difference areas of the organization and identify areas where revenue and cost saving opportunities can be achieved.
  • Prepares DataBank submissions to submit monthly.
  • Prepares Operating Cash Flow report to be reported monthly.
  • Assist in the building of the financial and operational indicators.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Base Wage: $22.60/hour (additional salary commensurate with education and experience)
