Encourages athletes to schedule appointment times
Sports Physicals
Haxtun Health Sports Physical Days have been scheduled for June 14th and June 28th from 9AM – Noon at the Haxtun Health Clinic. Student athletes are encouraged to make an appointment as available slots are limited. The exams are $20 per student. Although many local student athletes are still competing this season, the 2021/22 sports season is just around the corner and student athletes will need another CHSSA sports physical release.
Wellness Exams
Although the sports physical meets the requirements set out by CHSAA to get our students onto the court or field each year, it only skims the surface of an individual’s health. Haxtun Health is here to help our student’s kickoff the school year with a healthy start. As an alternative to the basic sports physical, we strongly encourage students, and their families schedule a Haxtun Health Wellness Exam. This type of appointment provides a more thorough examination and can ultimately keep student athletes and their guardians more in tune with their overall health. The wellness exams encompass all aspects of an individual’s health, diving much deeper into the overall wellness. Wellness exams can be scheduled throughout the year and are typically covered by insurance. Any student that schedules a Haxtun Health Wellness Exam during June, July, and August will be entered in to win an activities pass from their respective school for the 2021/22 season.
