Sports Physical Exams for the 2026-27 Season

Get Game-Ready This Summer
As summer sports camps and fall practices approach, now is the perfect time to make sure your student-athlete is ready to hit the field. The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) requires all athletes to complete a Sports Physical or Well-Child Check (WCC) every 12 months before their first practice. Taking care of this early helps avoid last-minute stress and keeps your athlete focused on performing their best. Haxtun Health is offering convenient sports physical dates this summer on June 24 in Fleming, June 26 in Haxtun, July 24 in Haxtun, and August 5 in both Fleming and Haxtun, with clinics running from 8 am to 4 pm.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Sports physicals are quick, affordable, and designed to ensure your child can safely participate in athletics. Be sure to bring a completed CHSAA form and the $25 payment due at the time of service. For added value, Haxtun Health will also have Physical Therapist Assistants available for free consultations. This is an excellent opportunity to address movement concerns, injury prevention strategies, or training questions before the season begins.
Sports Physical Dates for 2026: 6/24 in Fleming, 6/26 in Haxtun, 7/24 in Haxtun, 8/5 in Fleming and Haxtun
Why Consider a Well-Child Check
While a sports physical meets CHSAA requirements, a Well-Child Check goes a step further by providing a more comprehensive look at your child’s overall health. These visits are typically covered by insurance and include a full evaluation of growth, development, and preventive care. WCCs completed in June, July, or August also give back by earning a donation from Haxtun Health for your student’s classroom.
